I really want to do the splits
what are some good ways to quickly learn how
without hurting myrself?

well there's not really a "fast" way to do the splits. It all depends on how flexible you are now. If your not really flexible, it will take longer to learn. what i did when i was in gymnastics, was to do a "split stretch", which is just doing the splits as far as you can go and hold it for 5 minutes everyday until you reach a full split. That's only going horozontally. If you want to do it vertically, i can't help you.

hey girl im a dancer and gymnast i know this! but some people just CANT do it, because of their legs and bodies. Just practice everyday as much as possible, the more you do it the better you will get. in stead of going straight down into the splits from standing up, sit on the ground and slide into it.

several times a day, just do the splits as far as you can
dont sit back on it
most importantly- dont force urself

well you gotta stretch everyday and go take a class i did and i can do the splits just like that!
