How do you make photos bigger with hp photosmart?

we have HP photosmart premier installed on our P.C and despite selecting the wallpaer size and saving it
when i open the 'saved' photo it's no bigger than the original has anyone any idea is there anything else i could use it's driving me mad

You can change the resolution with a lot of programs, even Microsoft Office Picture Manager. The problem is that your enlarged picture will be much lower quality because you cannot add pixels when you make the resolution larger.
