These two are faves of mine but honestly most of the music from these 2 anime series are amazing. MY suggestion by the OSTs. With FMA the OSTs are mostly instrumental music with the openers and closers at the begining and then the end of the album. You might want to buy the FMA OST that is just the openers and closers. If you go to the Fullmetal Alchemist site you can follow a link to these songs. As to GitS. Anything Yoko Kanno and/or Origa touch is golden.
