The original Disneyland Park opened in 1995, so the actual anniversary was in 2005, but the entire 50th anniversary celebration "The Happiest Celebration on Earth" took place from May 2005 to September 2006.

yes although they celebrated at all parks it was 50 years of Disney land in Cali that has been open for 50 years and it was done in 2005/2006 also all the castles were designed diffrent with gold type things around

I believe Disneyland celebrated 50 years in 2005, but the celebration probably ran right into 2006, so your right either way.

july 17, 2005 disneyland turned 50. next year mickey will be 80. walt disney productions were'nt incorporated until 1938. before that i was partner ships- (iwerks-disney commercial artists in 1919/disney bros. studio with his brother roy disney in 1923/in 1984 disney would spawn touchtone pictures.)
