A lot of people including teens are making money through blogs at the moment. This is an untapped source as the teens and anyone else can get a lot of traffic to their blogs. As you can probably imagine, there are a ton of scams on the net, so choose carefully before you responds to any “work from, make a million” offers.

The best advice I can offer is this; have a financial cushion BEFORE lunching into your venture. Even if you are not investing any money, you still have to eat, pay the bills, etc., so if you’re serious about your new venture, treat it as a business and not a whim.

Since I’m a writer, I make my money writing e-books and articles; over time you can develop a following plus an income from doing this, and it cost you nothing except your time.

When you submit a QUALITY article to an article directory, and if that article is picked up by webmasters, ezines, etc., you can begin to develop a following and people will visit your site wondering what else you have to say on a subject.

On your site you’ll offer more targeted content, content that actually has substance and makes people want to come back for more. Within that content you can have clickable links, and these links can do multiple things.

1. Link to products that you have for sale.
2. Link to affiliate products where you get a commission for sales.
3. Embed yahoo ads into the article. When a user clicks a link, you make money; how much depends on yahoo and the keyword.

Those are just a few things that can make you money. The idea you MUST have is this; don’t expect (we all want it) to be an overnight success, it takes time to write, market and develop and audience. It can be done, I’m doing it, so can you.

I made some nice money at first, but once I found out these sites were legitimate, I started adding referrals and the money got a lot better. For every person you refer, you get 20% of what they earn on 2 of these sites. And for every person that one of your referrals refer, you get 10% on one site and 5% on the other. In time--this could be a great source of income--making money while other people are in a sense, working for you.

If you get 5 referrals who earn $20 a month, that is an extra $20 in your pocket. If you get 100 referrals earning $20 a month, that is an extra $400 you'll earn every month!!!

And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.
