Similar theme in both films, but which one do you think best captures that end of school feeling?

Ok Similar theme was perhaps not the right phrase. They were both high school films.

dazed and confused definately captures that "i'm in high school and my idea of 'going out' is driving around suburbia, talking about potentially buying beer"

The themes weren't similar; American Pie dealt with getting laid while Dazed dealt with the 70's atmosphere of booze, drugs, and feel good music. But for an end of school feeling, Dazed and Confused.

I've never seen Dazed and Confused, so i would have to say American Pie.
