You're trying to remember Invasion of the Saucermen, a 1957 black-and-white B-picture famous for its short but awesome big-headed bugeyed aliens, who immobilise their victims by injecting alcohol into them with the needle-sharp nails of their clawed, eyeballed hands.
The local teenagers finally stop the threatened invasion by turning their car headlights on the aliens, who scream and dissolve in the light...Terrible movie, great aliens , neat alcohol-squirting disembodied crawling hands!
