Shilpa is an actress and was totally fake, she knew exactly what she was doing. Jade was being herself, which is what the general public loved in her to start off with. She ranted and raved at Shilpa like she would have at someone else of any race she didn't get on with. The very people who have made her famous have now turned on her. Since when has not liking someone been racist?

Jade was voted off because she is loud and rude and does not think before she opens her mouth. There is nothing wrong with her being honest, but she is not in the slightest bit tactful or diplomatic. She seems to be oblivious to the fact that some of the things she says can be hurtful to others. I don't necessarily think it was a race issue. Personally I believe that if a white girl who held the same values and dignified manner as Shilpa did, would have been targetted. Jade is intolerent to those who make her realise how uncooth and stupid she is. Jade does not realise that even if she does not think what she is saying is offensive, the person on the receiving end may do. Did the general public really and truthfully like her or was it just media hype and a good PR team behind her?

Well for starters I have never liked her.

And she did more than rant as someone she didn't like - she bullied someone which is disgraceful for someone who heads an anti-bullying campaign. I don't think she didn't like Shilpa because she was Indian but it doesn't matter what the reason was - she still made comments that could be seen as racist.

However, first and foremost she bullied Shilpa and there is no excuse for that what so ever. She's rude and nasty and that's why people have turned against her. Her true colours came out this time when she had a little clique to back her up and make her feel she could get away with it. Last time she was just a silly girl who didn't know much, now she's spiteful and bitchy.

I don't care if Shilpa was fake or had a game plan - it is a game and it doesn't mean she deserved to be bullied.

yes shilpa is a huge bollywood actress and jade is.............what???anyways no-one can act for that amount of time in a confined space,if any other person got ranted and raved at like jade did to shilpa i think that the public would still dislike her.there has been constant bullying towards shilpa in the house that is instigated by jade, her boyfriend and friends just follow the leader.i feel that shilpa has been through so much upset with jade and co and has dealt with the confrontation extremely well and calmly considering.personally i think the others are partially jealous of shilpa because she is a beautiful, successful woman that has had and is still having a great career so it makes them feel they must do this because they have not had this much success so to make them feel better they use the good old bullying tactic, all i can say is there bullying just backfired BIG TIME!!they'll all be shocked when they get out.

I'll start by saying that I am not keen on Jade at all, but I can't help feel for her in this situation.
To be honest, I'm not sure whether those were true figures on the british public vote.
I believe that those figures were designed to try and alleviate any future escallation of what the news media turned into an unneccassary international arguement.
Its not the first time that our own news media has got our country in trouble over something as plain as a heated arguement where everyone HUMAN sais things we don't mean and regret them.

Just because someone is an actress as a job doesnt make them 'fake'...you do not know her personally to be calling her fake for all you know that could be the way she naturally is...

Ive said this a thousand of times of millions of 'Jade' threads i dont think shes rascist she was just bullying Shilpa because she didnt think she was genuine.

Well, whether she was fake or not, she was intelligent enough to exercise restraint on national tv wasn't she?
And how would you like it if a group of people whether or not from the same race as you would gang up on you and start calling you names, making your life a misery?
Wouldn't you call it bullying?
What's more, she should have known better even if she didn't go to law school. You might want to think about it yourself since you don't seem to think there was anything wrong with what she did.
Just make sure you don't insult someone using the wrong words, and you will not have to find yourself in Jade's position.
If she were out she would have been arrested for breach of the peace and definitely for harassment and racist comments whether she meant them or not.
Surely, if Jade who ISN'T the brightest of girls admits herself that she was way out of order and definitely sounded racist, YOU, an outsider are not going to say the contrary are you?!

Jade couldn't control her temper, she flew into ranting rages over petty things. When she was losing the fight she would yell and swear louder to talk over the other person. She acted very immature and resorted to bullying when things didn't go her way. Her agruments were weak and pathetic, and she played the poor me victim con job badly. The other more mature people saw right thru her act. She has issues and needs counseling. Has nothing to do with her racist comments, it is her personally.
And she is suppose to be a grown adult and a mother, she couldn't wait 10 more days to see Jack and have sex. Nice example for her kids, mom having sex on reality TV.

Even before the current controversy, ANYONE thinking Jade Goody being the best has either a rather abysmally low standard OR no standard at all OR has taken a leave from their brain & an utter insult to British Education System.

Jade's certainly NOT racist but she's for sure a bimbo with a pea-sized intellect. I appreciate she having enormous courage to approach Shilpa & apologise for her ignorance & being a bully. However, words out of the mouth are like an arrow out of a bow. Onces out, you CANNOT reverse back & end-up facing the music, which is what she's be in a position of now, I'm afraid.

I'm NO WAY disgusted with her "racial tone" whatsoever, such as calling Shilpa "Mrs Poppodum", "Go back to slum", etc. however, what's utterly unacceptable is that her ill-mannered, lack of etiquette, foul-mouthed & bullying behaviour has tarnished the country's reputation around the world & for which she deserves for what lies round the corner for her.

"Celebrity" is someone who work their way up with their skills, talent, entertaining quality or some sort of "je ne sais quoi" within herself/himself.

This is the 21st century, where unless you're born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you work your a*rse up to keep the roof over your head. Surely, degrading yourself by making a complete nonsense of herself is NOT the way I'd expect someone to become "Celebrity", since that's just beyond the pale & simply NOT cricket, frankly speaking.

Look at Richard Brandon, Bill Gates, etc. who've started from nowhere & are now a REAL "Celebrity". Compare that to an individual like Jade Goody, who hasn't a clue about what "East Anglia" is & has HARDLY a grip of her own "first language".

While, people having fought serving this country in the World War are starving themselves to death, while bimbos like her with a pea-sized intellect & suffering from intellectual deficiency, ends-up making millions by bringing an utter shame to British Education System.

Other than that, if she sees herself as a "Celebrity" then I fear she's deluded, since if that IS the case she should be smart enough to be even-tempered & keep her cool, a quality one'd expect from someone who prefers being labelled as "Celebrity".

Jade quite successfully reflected the very nasty & dark side of today's "typical teenage" generation & bringing the entire nation's image to disrepute, across the 4 corners of the world & for that, I'm terribly sorry to say but she deserves to pay a rather hefty price, I fear.

British people voted with overwhelming 82% to evict Jade was NOTHING to do with Shilpa winning any "sympathy vote", but the fact that vast majority of sensible Britons felt just as ashamed & mortified for the negative image Jade has portrayed of our otherwise, believer of fairness, well-mannered, tolerant & respectful British society.

Jade is the loudest, most common, straight up MOST ANNOYING person in the world. We have voted her off because we can't stand her, not because of any racist/non-racist/whatever behavior that may/may not have happened toward Shilpa.

In fact, I am offended - as I consider myself to be a member of the general public - that you have assumed that I loved her to start off with. Never could stand her.
