I've used every face wash there is, from the most expensive to the least expensive. The expensive ones aren't any better, just more expensive. I use Oil of Olay Total Effects, but I've also used Dove and Suave as well. Any drugstore brand is fine as long as you use one formulated for your skin type. If you really loved Clinique's cleanser try Almay. Almay and Clinique are the same company, but Almay is less expensive and is probably formulated just like Clinique's. Don't pay attention to those who tell you that you HAVE to spend a lot of money on skincare products. I've been using the less expensive brands now for many years and my complexion couldn't be more flawless.

You need to exfoliate and moisturise asap! Exfoliation will help to gently remove the flaky skin.. But id say use a really heavy moisturiser like Nivea or Astral. Not the ones that are specifically designed for facial use, just the big tubs you get? I dont know if you get me.. I know theyre kind of old ladyish moisturisers but theyre simple and work the best on dry flaky skin. My sisters skin gets the same and it will look dry and flaky, but as soon as she uses moisturiser ( she uses nivea) It makes the biggest different in the world! it goes from dull and flaky to smooth and radiant.. and it actually made me a moisturiser convert lmao Use it twice a day or more if you need it. And if it gets really bad, use a small amount of vaseline like an hour before you get into bed, if you use too much and jump into bed straight after... hello sticky pillowcases :| Good luck x

Soap is your problem, soap leave a film and drys out your skin. Also it messes with the Ph balance of your face. I use avon pore perfection and it's pretty cheap (under $10) the important part is to also use a toner and lotion.

the best face wash would be whatever you like. because it does not matter what kind or brand of face wash you use it matters how often and how you use it. wash your face twice a day once to wash the makeup off and twice to wash the face itself.
