go on ebay look up guitar dvd there are many tuition dvd or video`s out there go for an easy to learn one then when you have mastered that re sell it on ebay and try another a bit more advanced
a very impotant thing missed out when leaning a guitar is to have it set up by a professional most music shops selling guitars can sort this out like the action innotation checking the neck re string etc if this is all done then you guitar will be far better for you to learn on
best of luck

just learn your chords first. This will keep you busy for about a year. Memorize all that you can. I suggest learning the power chords first, they are easy and you can play a ton of stuff with 100% power chords. Besides, playing is about having fun. After all of that you can learn the other stuff. Just get playing. Harmony Central used to have a downloadable chord chart, if not there try 911tabs.com. Good luck man!

your best bet is to buy a self tuition book with one of those cd's. either that or a "teach yourself guitar" dvd's. theyre both pretty good, but with the book you can go at your own pace. i play bass and thats what i did since i had no money. trust me, it works well-my band has a record deal now!

websites would only tell you what the books would as well
