I have been to Circuit City and Target. They have ps3 just sittin there.

well lets see people were getting shot and people say it cost to much and there ain't many games for it yet and besides they probably still have bugs so wait another year for Sony to fix that problem if your gonna buy one.. oh and too many people bought them to sell on ebay for more than their worth... DAMN THEM ALL

Sony's been kinda shady lately. Take a look at the psp that claimed to be so wonderful yet has very few "real" games. I'd wait till next year to see if the mortgage, I mean price drops and they work out all the initial bugs (they have $99 insurance thing going on just in case it breaks on you) oh and we'll see if they have more than a couple of games to play on the thing by then.

The ps3 wakes EVERYTHING expensive!!! the damn machine is 500-600 and then for every movie you buy itll cost 10-20 bucks more! think about it, i have over 200 DVD's 200x20=4,000 ( i said 20 because thats about the price for a DVD) lets add 15 to that (in between 10-20 ) 200x35= 7,000!!! wow im never buying a ps3

Because there is a lack of good games to justify the $600 price point...
besides, the system isn't much more powerful than the 360...

Because it doesnt have many games, people are waiting for the next year because there will be more games. But the ps3 is and will continue to be the greatest console. You should buy one.

Nobody has $500 to just drop on a system, esp when the guy for sony came out and said that the cost was based on power the system had, that we would never be able to access. If I had $500, I def wouldn't waste it on that, not when I could buy several systems for that much.

I cost a lot and because there is a lot of hype about the wii. But i bought the XBOX 360 because its just like PS3 but it came out earlier

because its far too expensive, and whats really that new about it?
the nintendo wii is fairly revolutionary really. it offers a whole new way to play games. sure the graphics arent as good, but gaming isnt all about graphics...
