Free kittens and puppies end up costing MUCH more than if you pay to get them from a shelter. Unless you're planning on being irresponsible and not vaccinating or fixing your pet. Shelter pets range anywhere from $35-$100, depending on your area and type of pet. But even on the higher end of that range, it's WAY cheaper than getting them fixed, vaccinated, wormed, etc. Many shelters also microchip, which would cost another $35 or so. Save a life. Adopt a shelter pet. (YES, they have young kittens and puppies too)

Hi there...consider also either Petfinder http://www.petfinder.com or Colorado Springs Craigslist: http://cosprings.craigslist.org/pet/ . People post ads every minute on a daily basis for free kittens/puppies on Craiglsist so be sure to check back often.

There are sturdy and undesirable human beings everywhere. I doubt that the gang you're traumatic about might want to be a serious presence in Colorado Springs. Evergreen is a small city. it truly is severe priced and few (per chance no) undesirable human beings stay there. In some methods it truly is safer, besides the undeniable fact that the values of the wealthy youthful babies there gained't be the in reality ones you opt for your babies uncovered to. At 7500 feet or so, it has a significantly cooler climate. it truly is conservative in a wealthy Republican way, even with the reality that some pesky liberals stay there also. :-) you'd be needing to envision housing prices. Colorado Springs is a small city, one which oftentimes is praised as between the perfect. it truly is a city, and there are some undesirable human beings and an really few undesirable neighborhoods. It has miiltary and conservative agencies depending there. It previously became very conservative, yet those pesky liberals have also moved there, and there now might want to be range. for my section, i'd opt for my babies uncovered to that, because it truly is going to ensue sometime of their lives. in case you opt for heavily conservative Colorado, seem at Western Colorado, no longer the "the front decision" the position those 2 cities are placed. Small farm cities like Montrose or Delta might want to be sturdy. Or your babies might want to go in the course of the "no longer some thing to do in this city" difficulty.

Try your local newspaper or Pennysaver and look in the classifieds under pets... But I agree, the pound is the place to go. Nothing feels better than saving a life!
Good luck!
