You asked for the formulas,rather than the answers,hope this helps...A) 1 MI.=5280 ft., 1yd=3ft.,so 5280 x 2.5=13140/3=4380yds.
B)7 3/4 GL 1 gl=4qts.,so 7.75gl x4 =31 qts
C)3 yrs. 1yr= 365 days,so 365x3 =1095 days.
D) 1/2 Mi.convert1/2 to .50,so 5280/.50= 2640 ft
E) 1 1/2 ,1gl =128 ounces,1/2 gl=64oz,so
128 oz + 64 oz = 192 oz.
F) 21 Mos., 12 mos = 1yr,so 21 mos.=1.9 yrs
