How does the "collision theory" relate to the rate of a chemical reaction?

In order for a reaction to occur, the reactants must collide with eah other with the correct orientation (facing each other correctly) and enough energy to "stick". Otherwise they bounce back and there is no reaction. The higher the temp., or the higher the conc., there will be more collsions with higher energy, so the reaction rate will increase.
