My supervisor at work is the worst person i think i know. I'm not the type of person to hate people, or to wish bad things on people, but this guy really takes the cake. He's just horrible, the things he does to people at work. He drives people into quiting, and is all about money, not peoples feelings or needs. He has no personality, no people skills, and no sense of humour what so ever. I've never had thoughts of doing this to anyone before, but if you knew from experience what he was like you'd think the same.
Anyway, my question is: I was wondering if anyone knows any ways to sabatage his career, something that will really work and not look suspecious at all. I need a really good idea, but can't think of one myself, i'm not that creative, so please if anyone knows any really good ideas that are logical and would work to get this guy fired, please help me out!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi. I am a Human Resources Director. I would hate to think that any of our supervisors are treating employees in a way that would make them feel like you are. This guy must have his own boss who needs to know what is happening. Please don't approach this boss with a bunch of emotional statements like "he makes me feel bad". That won't impress him. Rather, approach the boss with statements like, "We've tried to talk to him about the problems but he doesn't seem to be open to feedback", "He is having a negative impact on productivity", etc. The boss can't invest alot of time in your feelings but he will be concerned if he thinks this situation is impacting his bottom line. Also, make sure that you're being honest with yourself about your reactions to this supervisor. If he's expecting you to do your job, that's not asking too much of you. You did ask for work when you applied for the job.

About Unlawful Harassment: You must be in a protected class who is having trouble because of that. A personality conflict is NOT harassment.

Also, if you decide that you are being harassed at work, the first thing you should do is report it to the HR person at your job. They are legally obligated to protect you and to make this action stop. You are protected by Law (Whistleblower Act) from retaliation for reporting illegal activity.

I know you're looking for some 007 spy tricks - but that isn't what you need. Anytime a fellow employee has you this upset - you need to move on. Your anger and need to get revenge can get YOU into trouble. That's the last thing that you want.

One ray of sunshine though... There are laws on "at work harassment" (hostile environment) - and you could be in a position to consult with a lawyer. Any company would would willingly keep this type of individual in a supervisory position is asking for trouble. Of course this would make working at this company very awkward. If you decide to go this route don't tell ANYONE else at work about it.

This guy will get what's coming to him eventually. You just make sure you get what you deserve, namely a better job and work environment.

Get everyone else in your dept. to agree to post complaints against him. Ask the higher-ups to send him to some training courses to update his people & management skills. If he refuses to go, he will then look bad and not you guys. OR you can somehow video tape his bad moments and present that to the higherups annyomously. It's hard to get rid of someone if the higher-ups don't know there's a problem.

You could always seek another job. My last workplace had a real crack-pot managment staff. They were more interested in office drama than actual work. I left and they hated me for it, but I have been at my current job for a long time w/ no complaints.

Sexual Harassment. Almost every workplace has a zero tolerance policy on it.

Or, you could take the issues to his supervisor, work your way up the chain until someone does something about it, but usually you need more than one person to call in about the problem person.

Get a condom, squirt some mayo into it, and throw it in the back seat of his car, his wife will think he did it, he will think she did it, and he will have other things to deal with instead of you!!

Is there any way you can let him make mistakes that would be blamed on him (not his subordinates)? If he screws up enough, he'll get fired.

how about starting a nasty ruomor? just make sure that they can't trace it back to you.
