Why can't you drop him off at work while you look for a job? Does he need the car all day long?
Concerning clothes...consider going to a thrift shop. Sounds crazy, but you would be surprised at what you find. I found a fully lined Ralph Lauren wool suit for my mom for $20.00! If possible, go to shops that border on high end neighborhoods for better stuff.
I'm stuck at home because of a broken ankle, so I feel your pain. You should create a resume and place yourself on some sites like Monster and Careerbuilder. Check and see if your local community college has distance learning where you can take classes on line. See about getting a grant or a student loan. I have a software package that's a tutorial for all the Microsoft Office programs, so I'm going through them one by one. If you're artistic, start drawing. If you're watching tv, watch something like HGTV's "Freestyle", then try and rearrange your place with what you have onhand.
Talk to your guy and see how you can compromise on the transportation. Once you get a job, carpool!

get a puppy. They're cute and fun to play with and they take a lot of work. You could start babysitting. Then you could make a little bit of money to save for new clothes. Take a walk, visit Friends, get a hobby or start baking cookies and stuff (your Guy would like that). i am sure there is something you can do if you don't work.

It sounds like you need a job no matter what. There are jobs out there that offer a company car or ride sharing. What about the bus? You won't be happy unless you get out there and make your own way in this world so you are not so dependent on your man.

start writing, keep a journal of your cares or worries, think of ways to improve your lives, think of ways to conserve money, writers make money too. Start writing a book. Finish the book. Send it to publishers, get paid for doing something that you use as a passtime.
