my mom has hers pierced but she cant wear anything but hoops since her ears water when she wears other earrings. i am afraid this will happen to me. if you DO think i should get them pierced WHERE do i get them pierced?

A girl should always have pierced ears. Earrings make a huge difference. You will feel nice and girly after you do it. You can go to a jewelry store (no ghetto stores) and have them pierced there with earrings that are designed to prevent allergic reactions. Now a days they have a wide range of studs to choose from. It runs up about $10 and you have to keep them on for a couple of weeks but then you can put any earrings on. Just because your mom's ears water doesn't mean yours will but if you are worried about it, make sure you clean your ear lobes and your earrings with alcohol before putting them on. Places like Target sell nickel free jewelry that will probably help you too. Not all earrings will make your ears water, you just need to figure out what type does so you can stay away from it.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't...and the chances of the same thing happening to you is pretty slim, so I vote yes. I don't know where you live, but there is this store called Claire's and they do ear piercings....i'm planning on getting a second piercing in my ears in a few days...so that's where i'll be heading.

you don't have to do anything you don't want to. i got my ears pierced when i was seven and now im thirteen. within the next year, i plan on getting my ears pierced again, right above the spot i last got them pierced, then i want to put one little hoop at the top of one of my ears. it's very fun to shop for earrings, especially at claire's. i've seen people have piercings all along both ears, and some guys stretched thier ears and put those ugly ring-things in their ears. you might not want to do that, bc it looks like it hurts!!! you could solve that water problem by cleaning your ears more often with peroxide.

i got mine pierced 2 times in both ears and they didnt hurt. I got them pierced at Claires in the mall. I think u should get them pierced

You can get a doctor to pierce your ears for you. I bought piercers for mine and they cost about $10. There are department stores that you can have them done. I have mine pierced 3 different times and I love them.

Pierce your own ears, freeze em with ice and stick a needle where u want the hole, make sure u alcohol the needle first.
put 14 karot earring in it.....simple.

DON'T pierce them yourself. It is dangerours and unsanitary. Ask a doctor. Doctors can pierce ears. My friend had a doctor come to her her house and pierce them in her kitchen. Or try Merle Norman but NOT Claire's.

if you want them pierced go for it. dont do it yourelf go to a mall or a tatoo shop make sure the place you go is very sanitary. if they start to bother you just take them out and they will close right up again.
