No, we need a government, but not the way it is now. Let's face it our government is corrupt, there's no other way to put it, both parties. We need to take the votes out of their hands and put it back into the people's. It is not only possible with today's technology, it is easily done. Let the Congress come up with the bills, but we the people vote them up or down. The President still has veto power, but we the people have the power to override the President, just like Congress has now. With the true power of the vote in our hands the politicians would have nothing to gain, we aren't going to support pork spending of our own tax dollars and we sure aren't going to put up with unethical behavior. Peace.

No. Can you name any country that where the people would be able to run it without any form of government?
France? Canada? Brazil? China? Angola? No....
There isn't a single country that could survive what you suggest.

I don't think so. It would require people to work together for the common good. With a society as large as the United States, nearly 300 million people, that would not be possible.

It would be an economiclly destroying. I mean if it were to happen now, there would be no hope and no survivers. On the other hand if this world had come to be without any sort of government then whose to say!

It would no longer be a country but total anarchy. A government helps keep a civilized country organized and functional.

30 people will devolve into a violent shell of a society in which the will of the strongest becomes de facto law. What do you suppose would happen with 300,000,000?

No. Most people in this country can't even run their personal monthly budgets let alone run the country.

Anarchy will never work. Families will band together for protection, these groups will group together, theses mega groups will form societies for protection and the betterment of their own lives (through ease of production and the like), then they will need to form courts to settle disputes, appoint leaders to create laws to know how to handle above said disputes, then when neighboring societies have disputes, leaders will need to know how to handle them, militaries will be formed for protections, and viola! We have government again. Its human nature
