When I was a kid, I had dark brown eyes. Over the years, they've become green./hazel. I'm 34 years old and in good health.
Anyone else have this happen?

Yes......me. My eyes were also dark brown when I was young. Now they're very light brown, with a dark circle around the edge of the iris. Weird.

A couple years ago my eyes went from dark brown to medium brown, lol. At the same time my right eye changed in that when looked under direct warm light (like around sunset) it becomes two shades, brown and green-brown, as if it's almost hazel. The other eye is the same shade all around. I didn't realize this until people started pointing it out. It's even weirder because I'm asian. Now I'm 22, I don't know if it's still changing.

I'm 13... and after I take a shower or bath, my blue eyes change to a lighter shade and is almost hazel. It doesn't work with swimming pools though.
I don't know why it happens, but babies are usually born with dark eyes. After time, it turns lighter and into its genetic color. Usually happens a few weeks after the baby is born. =/
and I'm in good health likewise.

My eyes change color daily...what is even cooler...in my opinion is that my god child...who everyone swears is my child, and we have no blood relation...has hazel blue eyes, and I have hazel green eyes, but when we are around each other, our eyes turn the exact same color. People have said it happens almost instantly from the time we get around each other.

Sometimes in the summer my eyes chand from hazel to a blue green Summer its more like a blue.
Im sorta happy that way. Dont be sad. Be happy other ppl will be jealous of us!

Wow, I find that very fascinating. I heard several other people talking about this subject. It has never happened to me. I'm not even a teenager yet. I can never tell. Right now they're dark brown. I'm very healthy. You know, I wish it would happent to me and somehow I would get blue eyes.

yes ..my eyes changed from blue to hazel in my late 20's. Seems like a common thing.

Yes, from blue. going to hazel and will be brown eventually.
because of the medication i'm taking for my glaucoma it effects the melanin production in the eyes themselves.
it's possible you've got less melanin in your system so your eyes have lightened.
