People are becoming overwhelmed by their lives. That's why so many people are taking antidepressant medications. It's very hard to cope in the world nowadays.
jumping off The bridge pretty much guarantees you will die and if you are intent on suicide you're going to pick the best bet. I also think that people are drawn to the golden gate bridge because it represents how big their problems are.
