It was read by the headteacher at school. It's about you children growing up and reminicing about their childhood.
"We should have used the power of love rather than the love of power"
or something like that?
Please help!

Please help! It was a lovely poem. Probably sucks for people with no children, but I have 3 great kids and it bought a tear to my eye. Sad I know!

power of love :: going for what you love most

love of power :: doing whatever the hell you have to do so you can boss people around.

I tried to find a site where you can look up poetry by a line from the poem, but have had no luck. I bet the head teacher wouldn't mind if you called his/her office and asked for the name of the poem. Good luck. (-:

Sounds pretty sappy to me. Good luck in finding it if you really go for that sugary, too-sweet, icky kind of stuff. Makes you feel like you have syrup on your fingers.

I haven't read that poem but from the quote I can honestly tell you that it's only word play and nothing more. I don't care for anything that our teacher tells us.
