hi

i am 15 and really want a job. i was wondering if anyone knows where i could get one. most places you have to be 16.

i am from rhode island

is there a website that i can browse at?

the job has to hire 15 yr old.

laws are so strict on what hours minors can work that most companies dont like to hire them because it ends up costing more money in the long run. When I managed a dollar general I was REQUIRED to hire 1 minor but it sucked because they could only work from 4pm to 8pm which meant that I had to also pay a second employee to work the regular 3pm to 11pm shift. It was horrible and a waste of hours. I would suggest going to non-franchise stores like local grocery stores and ask them if they are hiring because chances are that you are not going to find any availability with a big franchise company. Those little stands at the mall...like the ones that sell jewlery, headbands, watchs, cell phones, ipod accesiories, stuff like that. I know it might sound a little 'cheesy', but McDonalds is a good place, 2!

for your age, most listings and website like careerbuilder.com wont list jobs for your age. I would sign up at snagajob.com or think of all the major grocery stores and fast food places in your neighborhood, go to there website ex: safeway.com and go to careers/jobs (should be on the very bottom of the page) and they should have an online apllication. snagajob.com really worked for me when i was your age. good luck!!

Besides the local grocery store you are out of real options. Many other small businesses like delis and such might hire you. I would stick to trying mom and pop places instead of anywhere that has a human resouces dept.
