Yeah they broke up because of the age difference thing or at least thats what they are saying. joel is now seeing Nicole Ritchie. I guess Benji is kind of mad and doesnt like her. he made some comment about how he didnt like her moving her stuff into Joels house but I dont know. Benji is engaged now though just FYI (or thats what I read).

I heard that their break-up had something to do with her stalker. She was constantly freaked out, and it caused a strain on their relationship. Now, he's with Nicole Richie. It sucks cuz I thought Hilary and Joel made a very cute couple.

they broke up coz apparently hilary is still quite... pure. if you know what i mean. the eight year age difference might've been a reason that hilary dumped him
