go with black, ur red nail polish may not match ur dress making it look odd. also you have black accessories and fingernails are kind of an accent to the red dress.

Black! since the predominant colour you're wearing is red, you should wear the details in other colour just to make it fun...besided a friend of mine wore a red dress and black nail polish and it looked great!;) good luck!

I think you should go with black as it is hard to match the shades of red of the dress and the nail polish
and all the a-listers are totally wearing black polish at the moment

if you're wearing gold jewlery i think you shouldnt be wearing nailpolish at all because most people will be staring at that and i dont think black is good for an occasion.... red would be ok if it is toned down and doesn't stand out.
