I've been wanting to get my nipples pierced and was wondering what kind of pain I would have during the days/weeks after getting it done. Also, what kind of clothes (i.e. bra, shirt, etc.) would i need to wear when i go? And do i take them completely off? And can i get bar bells put in when i get them pierced or does it have to be the rings?

I got mine pierced when I was 22, and I am 29 now. The barbells are gone, but the holes remain..I took them out when my daughter was born. Yes, of course it is painful to get them pierced-they are your nipples for crying out loud! However, in my opinion, it hurts WAY worse to pierce your tongue. I didn't have to wear a different bra, but I did go without one right after they where done. Don't be paranoid about infection, just use common sense- wash them AT LEAST daily with antiseptic soap, don't fiddle with them, and above all-keep you honey's mouth away until they are COMPLETELY healed..saliva can cause a nasty and painful infection. Be sure to have someone you trust with STERILE equipment to pierce you or you are only looking for trouble. (And don't forget the holes are permanent....)

getting your nipple pierced hurts like hell. for the first week or 2 they will hurt enough so that you can't move them unless they are wet (if you're in the shower or cleaning them). if you dont wash them EVERYDAY with antibacterial soap, they will get infected and be incredibly painful for a long time after that. they take about 6-8 weeks to fully heal after the initial piercing. you can get barbells, but they get infected easier. you can wear whatever you want. you take everything off so it doesn't get in the piercer's way.

Go for it!! but just one...asymmetry looks better, don't worry about anything else if you like them do it and it will work for you, just go to a professional who know what he(or she) is doing and follow the aftercare instructions! I would suggest asking all this to the piercer...However I know nipple piercing is the most painful and there is a chance that you could lose all sensitivity in your nipples if it is done wrong.

i think the ring is pretty much your choice. you'd probably rather a sports bra a loose one. i got mine pierced..along with almost everything else i took them out though i dont think it had even been a month, the pain was so much.. if you need anymore info on it google it

one time, my grandmaws neighbor pierced his and he was in severe pain and had to take the thing out that night.
hope u have ice packs when u do this.

You need to be careful, if they hit a nerve you could loose the sensation in your nips.
