Why do *YOU* watch American Idol?
Is it because Simon is so mean to the contestants? Is it to watch people get humiliated on TV? Is it because of the talent (or lack thereof) on the show? What's *YOUR* reason?

It's entertaining! Pure and simple! Yes Simon is blunt, and yes, Paula acts weird, and Randy calls everybody "dog". But so what?They make the show interesting.And, quite frankly, most of the people auditoning for the show don't have the talent neccessary to make it and need to be told so.

I do watch it. i do not somewhat pay interest to his performances certainly. And he's kinda lovable yet i wager he's high-quality. i understand he receives some distance. There are a pair those who i do no longer want to get some distance. Allison (i do not want a 16 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous prevailing back, Jordin Sparks became 17) Megan (she's horriblee) Adam has wayy too a lot interest. i'm starting up to get ill of Lil and genuinely Anoop. i respect love love Danny Gokey and Scott is amazing alongside with Kris!

American Idol is like TV junk food... it's SO not good FOR you, but it's quick, cheap, tasty and satisfying in a really sick kinda way. It has a TV Karaoke for Money feel, and as a former karaoke dj, it cracks me up. The folks that are good, are good, and I like to pick a "horse" and cheer. My husband is in a band and writes music; we like to sit and judge along with the judges!

i watch it for the whole .10 seconds it takes to channel surf past it. gotta be the most horrible reality show out there. how do people seem to sing out their butts make it on that show. however my daughter watches it for the comments made by simon, to watch people who think they can sing and for the winner of it all.

I like it becaues i like watching people sing and i think its funny. I always look forward to the next week cause its so good!

I watch american idol because its funny and good. But you shouldn't because it's mean!!!!!

I only watch the auditions and laugh at the people that think they can CAN'T!
