How do I find the list of programs that run at start up automatically when the computer is booting up?

on win xp,, go to start , run, type msconfig and then go to the boot tab, you can view them there.

msconfig lists the services and programs.

But if u want a detailed explanation then try accessing Services from the Administrative Tools which can be found in the Control Panel.

some will be in run/ msconfig startup, but you can also go into your start menu, then go into the startup folder, some will be listed there, and just delete them if you don't want them to start at startup.

Press the CTRL, ALT and DELETE keys at the same time. Most of them will be listed.
