Why can't my family call another friend in Sims 2?

She can't call my other character!

-Yes she DOES have a phone
-they ARE friends and know each other
*** my other character can call her

It might be a glitch. Try moving her to a different lot.

When she calls is someone saying no one is available or does a message pop up saying 'not to call them while they're at work'

delete the phone and buy a new one, see if that fixes it if not then head over to the BBS at thesims2ea.com and ask in technical support forum.
