Not sure if you are looking for undergrad or graduate programs.

This Gradschools.com page lists the programs in genetics and related fields in the Notheast. If you are interested in an undergraduate degree, some of these universities may have those programs as well.

Many of the programs listed are in biology (and I assume you could study genetics as a subfield).

But on this site, look at the programs at:

SUNY Stony Brook (genetics)
SUNY Buffalo (molecular biology and cancer genetics)
Cornell University (Genetics and Development)
University of Rochester (genetics, genomics, and development)
SUNY Albany (molecular genetics)
Columbia University (genetics and development)

If you haven"t tried it yet.You could try and do a search on the internet for colleges in NY that have the classes for a genetics major. I don"t know if this will help , but you can try typing in NY colleges for genitics major.com ro .net , or .org and see what you come up with.
