there r tons...many already listed..chitty chitty bang bang, cats, the lion king, the beauty and the beast, the little mermaid, the phantom of the opera, wicked, tarzan...this kind of stuff all depends on what ur child likes... rent all the movies, but some sheet music, and let ur child choose what her/she wants to sing. fiddler on the roof is also a VERY accesible and easy song to sing, with good tunes, and a movie u can b sure to find.

I would buy her a Broadway soundtrack and give her the accurate lyrics. If she's a child she should probably do something appropriate for her age (it'd look silly otherwise). That doesn't necessarily mean she's limited to Annie, but... well, you know what I mean.
Annie actually isn't a bad choice, as well as anything that was a Disney movie. Also, Wicked.

As we are talking about a little girl I would suggest "Tomorrow" From Annie. The song may be the most annoying ever written but it is s sure bet that little girls all over the country know that show and song

How about one of the songs from "The Sound of Music?" "My Favorite Things," "Do-Re-Mi," "Edelweis"

"Oliver" has songs sung by the orphans, but could be sung by a girl -- "Where is Love?" "Consider Yourself", "Who Will Buy?"

"South Pacific" has one short song sung by Emile's children - "Dites Moi"

And, of course, there are a number of wonderful songs from the classic "Peter Pan" - "I'll Never Grow Up", "Neverland", "I Gotta Crow", etc.
