This to shall pass, young one! Laughter aside, what you are feeling/perceiving is normal. You may even experience it several times in your life.
At this point I want to ask you, what has happened for you to ask this question. It would appear that you have something cataclysmic happen, such as a death close to your heart. If I am right then I want to express my sincere sympathy for you and your lost.
You can probably guess that we(humans) often contemplate such subjects, when we mourn. We also mourn for varied reasons. Another example could be an ending of a relationship.
We are all diamonds in the rough! Every facet that is cut, is another face we present. How are others suppose to care about you if you choose not to care?! Every day we show a different face. Each situation calls for something different from within us.
We are not monotone drone robots! We are living breathing human beings. We feel, we sense, we learn and love! Welcome to the human race (even with it's imperfections)!

Maybe if you take off your mask, you could find yourself better and it will be a lot easier on the people whom you meet. Also you could do a pros and cons list, that would be less complicated to do with the mask off, you would only have 2 columns instead of 4 or 6. Keep it simple.

You don't see the reason why you should choose... well, there's your problem. Everything in life boils down to choice. You can choose to accept yourself the way you are, you can choose to change, you can choose to care or not. I used to suffer from major depression, hated myself, didn't see a point to anything. Then one day I say f*ck it and chose to stop being miserable. Everybody runs into the brick wall of reality vs. perception occasionally. Dust yourself off and make a choice.

Simply acknowledge the reality. If you understand who you are, you can go from there because you know your limits. This lets you act more in accordance with how things REALLY are, as opposed to being delusional about yourself and screwing yourself or others because of how you act in this manner. Once you know yourself, you need to learn to see the potential to improve yourself and others (so that they can help improve you too!) that surrounds you in day to day life. Once you know "where" you are, you can decide where you want to go and you will be able to identify potential in life that will help get you there (you need to know what your looking for to find it ;) )
Good Luck! And, by the way, try meditation! It makes you smarter, and science agrees! ^_^

My mom says you can put reminders around the house until you get everything accomplished that way you will not forget. You can write a contract for yourself and sign it if you dont live up to it you could sue yourself in the court of love and perfection.
Like date a fat blind retarted person, until you learn.

Accept your self for what you are. It would make you calm. it would decrease the restlessness. The reason one has to make the choice is to be happy, calm. if you constantly fight, berating yourself for what you are not, then you will always be sad, depressed and no one wants to be sad and depressed. another thing leave it to time, time heals all. In a few days, you may forget this question itself. However, if you choose to hold to it, then accept for what you are. Be happy.

I think batman said it best when the joker told him to chose between Bruce Wayne's love and Batman's side kick
Batman answered he was both and saved both.
Sometimes we need to compartmentalise to survive but we're still both and can uncompartmentalise once the survival issue is resolved

Aim at knowing thyself objectively|
When you have achieve that, you have achieved *humility.*
That is because humility is truth!
The truth is, we are nothing of ourselves, and everything we have or are, comes from God.
But if we truly acknowledge ourselves to be nothing before the All, God can fill us with the most inconceivable treasures|
