Coz it makes the little sh*ts feel superior to you!

Dumb a**es!

I just keep on smilin' and being nice - I still hold to the old adage of treat people how you would wish to be treated - even if they're nasty.

And that makes ME feel SUPERIOR to them!! Lol!!!

Some people will be mean and nasty if God Themselves were good to them. It's not you. Some people are simply having a bad day and need just that little spark of Human kindness to make a bad day better; while others revel in making someone else's day drop into the toilet. That's where your own strenght of charecter has to come into play, my Dear One. It takes some practice and it takes a great deal of stamina but you *can* do it.
My Partner Truckinotter drives OTR for a living (she drives Semi). When people are nasty on the hyway she smiles and blows kisses at them even when they tell her "she's number one"...I think you know what I mean...the middle finger. I smile and wave at them.
If I'm wrong, I apologise and walk away before someone can start a confrontation. It drives them mad.
You can catch more flies with honey by being nice and being kind than you can by returning nastiness for nastiness and that is what the World does really need now. It needs people proving to Nasty People that Good People do exist and that we won't back down.
Bless you, Dearest and you are very very welcome, Gitsliveon.

It's not possible to get on with everyone. There are people who will watch you SQUIRM you know. They know you are trying to be friendly but they just want to see you suffer. These people are known as BULLIES. Don't have anything to do with them. There are also people who will be friendly and then exert power over you by making you earn friendship. Don't do that either. xx

Listen, how ever people are brought up, they have a choice about how they treat others. I don't think a bad up bringing or being in the war is an excuse unless it's mental illness.

Some people are mean even after you are nice to them basically because they have a very low image of themselves. They make themselves feel better by putting others down. Also, they are not very happy in their own lives and if they can make you miserable then it makes them feel like they are not alone.

Some people are rude to everyone unfortunately but it will backfire on them in the long run. If not today then tomorrow.Just try & remember that it is them that has the problem not you & carry on being as nice as usual to everyone else!

I don't understand it myself. Especially for this one sweet lady on here. She will be so sweet after someones insulted her, but I guess she's rubbing off on me(Thanks Otter) because my resolution for the New Year was to be more like her & I'm having a great one so far

some people want to feel justified to be mean to somebody because everybody's mean to them too. when somebody's a real ***** to me i'm not extra nice to them but i still treat them with basic respect and they should do the same for me.

Because they are having bad things happen to them outside of your interactions with them.
It took me a while to realize that when people usually get mad, it is because they are tired or having uncontrollable and unwanted circumstances placed on them.

because it makes them feel better. I don't know how that is configured in their twisted minds, but it does. I know quite a few people like that! but as my mom always says, "kill them with kindness"

because they don't appreciate the good that you're doing for them as they prefer to throw it back in your face. these people are not worth it though
