I had a leep done several years ago. I was told then that I have a "small" cervix and my dr. was careful not to remove too many cells. Which is still my current OB who did the procedure. However, Im wondering how often LEEP procedures contribute to incompentent cervix's and carrying babies to term. I will be sure to ask at my next appt. but any info would be great. Thanks!

I had a cryotherapy (freezing) done when I was 20 and a LEEP after my third child 8 years ago...I have carried all of them to term and THEN some..LOL. You are with the same OB so he knows your history well and will be sure to check often to make sure everything is ok...Good luck.

My sister had teh same procedure done a couple years ago. She carried both babies to term but had very short labors due to short cervix.

I have had one done also. I was told by my dr. that if you have had more than two, it can effect your ability to have a full term pregnancy.
