When you are drinking Cola you are drinking dissolved CO2. In no way is that harmful. Although it may make you burp!

There are traces of dissolve O2 is H2O and Cola and almost any other fluid around - they WILL NOT hurt you either. It is present at very, VERY, LOW concentrations.

If you could get a glass of liquid O2 and drank it it would KILL YOU by instantly freezing your esophogus closed and shutting off your oxygen supply to the lungs (O2 exist as a liquid at -219 degrees C).

As stated, drinking liquid oxygen will kill you. There have been companies that have added oxygen to water based drinks to a level that is higher than normally found. The problem is that unlike CO2, O2 doesn't like staying in the water. Even if you put 10 times more O2 in the water (around 100 mg/L), within a couple of seconds of opening the bottle the oxygen level would return to ambient (<10 mg/L). I also seem to remember that the O2 present in anything you drink, will have no impact on your body. It would just come back out of you as you went along, the same way it went in.

We don't drink water because it contains oxygen, we can get enough of the gas through breathing (when at rest anyway). Water itself is essential since it is a universal solvent, which means that products of digestion in larger animals can be dissolved and transported within the body from the gut to other parts. Water is also necessary for biochemical reactions eg digestion. Liquid oxygen wouldn't work.

Carbonated water is water with CO2 dissolved . It is not cola. Cola is a nut and used for flavor. The soda with sugar is bad for your health because it is empty calories. Water is H2O, the O is not available. Water contains dissolved O2 that fish breathe, we can not. Liquid oxygen is -183oCelcius. We could not drink it with out getting frozen, and pure oxygen is more than our body wants.

First off, if you drank liquid oxygen, you would die. Liquid oxygen is a liquid at -223 degrees C, so you'd get messed up pretty fast.

Second, the oxygen in water has nothing to do with why soda is bad for your teeth. Soda contains a high concentration of carbon dioxide. The CO2 reacts with water to form Carbonic Acid (H2CO3). This acid is what eats away at the enamel on your teeth.

Im not so sure...but my answer is no...you can drink water with some mineral ion...but liquid oxygen...
Liquid oxygen is too cold for some of the organisms in your body and you know that when things reach some limit of temperature, their characteristics begin to change...especially proteins in your body...in Biology they call the proteins are denatured...
You know oxygen in your body will be carried by blood cell, and blood cell is a kind of protein...
