units? 4 3 credit classes = 12 credits. Anything below 12 is part-time.
12 credits is established for qualification of financial aid (federal)... so it does not vary from school to school or state to state.

No... you are now a part-time student. Also they are credits not units. Your classes will not be comprised of all 3 credit classes... some are 1, 2, 3, and even 4 credit classes. However 3 is standard.

i does no longer advise it. you need to be getting right into a minimum of one million-3 hours of interpreting a week for each 'credit' hour you're taking. i'm taking 18 credit and that i do not actually have time for a social existence, a lot less artwork. the perfect portion of do is concentration on your college artwork and in reality get a job once you've added time. pupils loans, even as spendy, are extra useful than putting too a lot on your plate and ruining college. keep in mind that school is what is going to practice you for existence and provide help to earn a authentic residing once your executed. you do not opt for to debris it up because you probably did not opt for some better pupil loans.

For financial aid purposes, 12 units is considered full time.

Some schools consider 9-12 credits full time, but that does not guarantee financial aid funds.

It is usually 12. Not sure what dropping a course in the middle of a semester means to that, probably nothing.
