Celebrity Big brother Would you forgive Jade Goody??

Question

Hi everyone, i really do feel sorry for Jade Goody from the big brother house. We have all done things like this, remember the time when we got sooo angry that we said things we wouldn't have say normally. We all make mistake and Jade did but she has already apologize. I don't believe she is a racist if you watch the Jade goody show you will know she have been to india and enjoy the people and the culture there. It is clear for alot of us that the whole story has been blow out of proportion (especialy by newspaper like the Sun) but thats what they alwasys do and enjoy doing, i feel like the media is the true bully here. Everyone should be given a second chance if they truly and sincerely are sorry for what they did. Be easy on her, an angry person often say foolish things. I have forgiven jade, what about you, will you? express yourself :)

Maybe Jade is the 25th most influential person and have got a few millions in the bank but as valda54 said she is just "a bit loud and puts her mouth into gear before she engages her head". Remember when she said "I am the 25th most influff infulfan, influental person" That just sums up her character. Taking everything she say so literally, seriously especially knowing her character and how angry she was, is wrong in my opinion.

I think people do not fully understand the true meaning of what being racist is about. It's not only about one's skin colour, it also about people culture, the way you see them and about ideologies and also about power. To say that your are not racist because you have people of colour in your family or even friends does not mean anything. It's not until to remove certain layers of thinking that you begin to see people's true colours. Take for instance when Jade's mother could not be bothered to remember Shilpa's name, and asking if she lived in a hut. With the advent of the internet there are no reasons for people to be ignorant. So you can undersatnd where Jade is coming from. I also beleive that had Shilpa been a different colour- eg black, there is no way Jade would be all up in here face, becase she would have been layed out flat on her back. Remember when she was first in Big Brother and she had a disagreement with Adell? She was certainly not up in Adell's face, so for her to say that she argues with everyone in the same manner is rubbish. Although watching BB was uncomfortable to watch, I am glad that these issues were exposed as it shows what many people in Britian really think and behave towards others of colour.

What we all need to do now is the learn and move on!!! So to answer the question, I do forgive Jade. I do however feel that the only reason she has apologized is because she knows that she is about to lose eveything she has gainned.

As for Channel 4, they also have a lot to answer for, had they had nip it in the bud, things would not have reached this far. The way they managed everything did no help either. Not only did they not nip it in the bud, but they stage manage everything- for instance debreifing Jade. The interview Jade gave, there is no way someone like Jade could have given such an interview had they not breifed her. Everything was carefully managed.

What I have personally learn, is that in any given situation although easily said than done- you need to take a step back and think before ramping and raving!!!!

Yes but are you the 25th most influential person and have you got 8 million in the bank - she's only got herself to blame, don't feel sorry for a nasty bullying piece of work. See it's happening already, she's lying and deceiving and you have fallen for it. She is like a wife-beater who is really sorry when he beats his wife and she believes it. Jade is a mature woman who has a choice, she made the choice to act the way she did and it is absolutely inexcusable. And remember it wasn't her idea to apologise, she was told to do it in the diary room. What about her liposuction operation done cunningly just to bring out a fitness DVD, do you forgive her for that lie as well? She is manipulative and knows when to turn on the fake tears.

have you ever actually met jade i dont thinka nyone can say something about another unless they have met them and not intepreted by what they have seen on tv or wherever because thats what the press wants and at the moment you are falling for the trap. I arent that keen on jade but only to watch I havent met her so therefore do not no her true personality but until then I think we should not do this to one another reading a book by its cover is not the way to live. And take it up with C4 if you are bothered. No offence to you but I dont care for it and I arent a BB hater I;ve watched every one.

All three of them should see the consequences of their actions. Irrespective of whether you think they are racist or not (I don't think there is any doubt about it) all three of them are completelyl guilty of crazy, abusive, insistent ganging up on a single person who was nothing but consistently polite and respectful towards all of them.

I really hope the careers of Jade Goody, Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd are flushed down the drain and they are left penniless on the streets. In the gutter.

You have summed up exactly how I feel. She is a human being, she has apologised. I'm worried how much hate she'll receive when she gets out. I think she's learned a lesson and she'll realise to be more careful with her remarks, but further than this, I hope shes truly isn't racist and if she was then that she'll begin to take a different view. Give her a chance I say.

i don't think so!!! clearly she has problems, as do the others , they clearly have underlying integration and racial problems, they have had these tendencies all there lives and have let there guard slip and released there innermost thoughts to the world, they have recently regreted there actions, but only one thinks because they have been tipped off by channel 4 as to there behaviour , the reality of what they have done and how they are now perceived to the world is hitting home, they sought fame on entering the house and have only found noteriety, you live by the sword you will die by the sword

No, she enjoyed her bullying and she is a racist. As Shilpa said to her tonight there are some things you say in life that you cannot take back, this is most definitely one of them! She has orchestrated her own downfall and she is reeping what she sowed. She needs to deal with it.
