I adjusted my e-mail settings to allow you to contact me.

I am a writer and have been making a living that way for a very long time. I am also a harsh editor, so keep that in mind as I address your work.

You are not a writer. That does not mean you never will be. The reasons I decided to open my mail to you is that you obviously like to write; and you write on a diverse range of topics, thus demonstrating an interest and awareness of the world around you. That, above all else, is the fundamental necessity of a good writer. The other skills can be acquired. I suggest you either attend the first year English courses at your local junior college or submit yourself to my informative editorial abuse.

I like the mind but dismiss the writing. Ignorance of matching pronouns with antecedents is distracting. Ignorance of punctuation makes me have to re-read passages to figure out where one thing ended and another started. Spelling errors such as "since" rather than "sense" make it past a spell checker but not an educated reader. In the Smallville piece you speak about what you think of the series, but you never quite get around to discussing the series itself.

If you are looking for applause, sorry. If you want to become a writer, go to school or contact me. Will leave the mail open for two days.

Regards

It might be a French medal offered for valor within the Battle of Verdun. The Battle of Verdun used to be fought on February 21, 1916 and it ended the Siege of Verdun which had started on Christmas Day, 1915. The Germans had besieged Verdun for 2 months and deliberate an offensive that might honestly take Verdun and its forts. They had been meant to provoke the offensive on February twelfth, however come what may it bought behind schedule and French intelligence found out the plot meanwhile, so that they had been capable to organize for the attack. PASSE PAS does certainly imply "Do now not go" in French, and it might confer with the truth that the French held the road and repelled the Germans.
