You know that is a good question. Maybe the question should be what will the marriage rate be. Because in 2006, 51% of women in the US were either divorced or never married so if the rate of single women keeps increasing and people stop getting married but instead choose to just live together the number will be really low like it was in the 1930s

Do you mean after ___ years of marriage or do you mean say in 2012, 2017 20whatever?

I suspect, it's like a bell curve, where early marriage and longer term marriages have lower probabilities of ending, while middle term marriages, such as 5-10 years in length have a higher probability of ending.

Interesting question, if I understand what you are asking.

5 yrs - same
10 yrs - better, as there is a growing trend among people, many are starting to feel that marriage isn't necessary. Therefore not getting married at all. Life partners is becoming more acceptable and not just as a gay/lesbian term. But among heterosexual couples as well.

I don't know...I do know that they are already really high. In 5-10 years it will probably be extremely high. I'm staying away from the altar.

its going to go way up cause now alot of states allow gay marriages .........more marriages more divorce
