Okay so I kinda have an embarassing problem. My semi formal dress has cross ties in the back. Im a D cup and absolutly need to wear a bra with my dress. The problem is you can see the back of my bra with the dress. I don't know what to do. my dress is borrowed from my sister and I can't get cups sewn into it. I heard there are bra like things that adhere to your chest. How much do they hurt, and will they stay when I dance?

Sorry hun i'm a D cup too and those things absolutely do not work. Not in the least, not even if you get really big ones. I had a problem like that with a dress and if its possible with your dress, they have strapless bras that instead of coming around the middle of your back they instead sort of criss cross around your stomach area and go along the lower part of your back. They are kind of odd but it worked wonders. I got it at a department store.

the sticky things don't hurt at all, and mine tend to stay on, but did once fall off because i was really sweaty (i know, eww!). I'm only an A cup though, so i don't know how well they work on a D cup (LUCKY YOU!) what about a strapless bra or one with clear back strap? I think you can get some really pretty straps now too - diamonte ones etc.

Online? Ebay? I've found a number of gorgeous dresses there, and you can search by size. Not to be mean, but lose the weight for next year so you won't have this problem. Aside from finding clothes that fit you there's a world of health issues you'll be avoiding by being healthy.

Chiming in with the other D cups to say that those adhesive bras absolutely will not work for you. (And, seriously, A cups should not be jealous of the bigger girls, believe me, we wish wear could halter tops half as comfortably.) Your best bet is to go with a bra that has a clear backstrap.

Try this website:
http://brastraps.com/
they have clear and beaded straps (so they're meant to be seen). They also have a bra called the evolution bra that has a lowback halter option. That option will be much more comfortable than trying to dance with a bra that's adhered to your chest.

Yeah, you can buy boob cups or you can get a special bra from Victorias Secret that is made specifically for open back dresses. Or you can borrow mine, but I think it might be too small for you lol

They do have adhesive bras, but if you're a D cup... they wouldn't really help you. Your best bet would be to get a bra made for low backs. They sell them at regular dept. stores or maybe even Vickis.

You could go to Victoria Secret and get the Invisible shaping bra. It has no straps in the bag, and it is clear so it's nonvisible.

They do not hurt at all. They are not adhesive they just stick to your skin because of there texture. They will support you while you dance witht the help of your dress as well.
