It depends very much on the whole person's appearance. I think the eye should constrast with the person's hair and skin's colors, like brown hair with green eyes, or blonde hair with blue eyes.

grey are hot.... but im hazel and they change to green(bight) to a yellow to a brown and very very rarely a kinda shade of blue ..... I have the weirest eyes at least thats what everone says everyone but my family they all have just brown eyes so I guess I am a real freak

I have what is called Heterochromia which means my eyes are different colors, naturally. My left eye is blue my right eye is green

My own eyes are green, and they've always gotten compliments. On a guy....I've seen so much blue I'm about sick of it. Give me big, soft, brown puppy dog eyes.

I hate to do the stereotype but the love of my life is blond with blue eyes. I'll have to vote for blue as I get lost in them every time I see them.
