i saw the trailer and i was disappointed to know that the nancy in the movie seems to be too young, i mean they should have hired an actress that looks more mature than emma roberts..
i don't mean i hate emma but i just don't like her to be nancy..
i really love the nancy books and i want to the movie to be cool and amazing as well...

I love Nancy Drew too and I think Emma Roberts looks a bit young to be playing a 16-year-old. The rest of the cast looks good. Bess is played by Amy Bruckner (Phil of the Future) and George is played by Kay Panabaker (also of Phil of the Future). I'm not sure about Tate Donovan playing Mr. Drew...and I've never heard of the guy playing Ned. I'm excited because I grew up with Nancy Drew...I just have this bad feeling that the film is going to spoil it. You and I both I know what Nancy Drew is supposed to be like...how Carolyn Keene (despite this being a fictional name) wrote her....and filmmakers are rarely loyal to the original story. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
