Sorry to obtuse, but what is an EMO. Some kid told me he was a goth and an EMO. and I just responded "Hmmmm that's nice dear"

You, cant just make someone not be something. Everyone choses what they want to be. If you really care for your brother just let him be. As long as he is happy then that is all that should matter.
