Which one is easier to play??

Depends on the kind of music you like but i think the bass is easier

Anyone can learn to play bass. I'm not saying your gonna be Flea in 2 months but Bass is much easier to pickup on than guitar. I have been playing music for more than 15 years so I can tell you a little bit from experience. He played a mean guitar,
He always ate in the Steak Bar. He loved to drive in his Jaguar.
So welcome to the machine. Get the guitar.

Everyone will say bass...that's crap. It's equally challenging to learn any new instrument, and you success will be determined by how much you want to learn it. Obviously, I'm biased toward the bass but it does take just as much practice time as the guitar (which I also play).

I've never tried bass, but I found electric easy to play.

I'd suggest you try both & you be your own judge.
Don't fall for the "bass has fewer strings, so it must be easier" thing.
Both are challenging in diff' ways...

ive never played bass, but dude, they are both guitars so its gonna talk practice before either one is easy

Most of the bassists I've met have been one note players (You know, find a note that sounds good and ride it.) who don't realize they need to work with the drummer alot. When you finally meet a bassist who knows what they're doing, its very exciting (like Billy Sheehan).
