Change headlight on 03 GTI HELP!!?

Question

I can't figure this out....Its the bulb on the very outside of the headlight...I got to it and unplugged the thing from it so i can see the prongs sticking out, but how do I get it out???? It won't budge. Detalied explainiation would reeeaaally help me!!

If its an H1 or H7 there is a L-shaped spring-loaded wire clip that holds it in. You have to release that to get the bulb out
