what would you think of him?

that he was religious, gay, really shy, or extremely self-conscious (and wonder why so?).
but don't worry about what everyone thinks. it will only matter what the girl you like thinks. don't make a big deal about it. i didn't have a serious boyfriend until i was 18 and 10 years later we are still together. he is my husband.
good luck!

My guess would be that you're probably a bit shy. But it's really not all that strange to not have a girlfriend until after high school. I know a lot of guys who were the same way. Sometimes we get stuck with certain stereotypes in school and can't quite shake them. That's the exciting thing about graduating and starting life. You have the opportunity to make a new stereotype for yourself. Just don't let any shyness or insecurity hold you back from creating the perfect one.

Good luck, my friend. The ladies will come... as long as you are nice to them and worthy of their affection by your good actions.

I would think either he never found the right one, or he was never interested in having a girlfriend. What would you think of a girl who was over 18 and never had a boyfriend?

If I was single, I would actually be interested in him. I would see him as mature and as someone who's obviously not just out looking for some action. I actually do know a couple guys in similar situations and I respect them a lot. It's not that they made a conscious decision not to date or that they don't like girls, it's just that they are looking for a relationship and not just a quick fling. I think that's an awesome quality to find in a guy, although I realize it goes against everything society seems to say.

I'd judge him PURELY on an individual basis - because in the grander scheme of life, it really does not matter. So he's never had a girlfriend - so what? Does this somehow make him less of a person? NO. It just means he was busy doing other things.

the same thing i'd think about a guy who had had a girlfriend. I'd probably like him more because I would know he hadn't "been around". But then it could be a bad thing because it would look like he didn't have any relationship experience and that could be a problem in the future. But overall I wouldn't mind it.

it just depends on their experiences. well im 19 and never had a bf. its not my fault its just that the guys that i meet are always players or after sex. so i choose to keep myself from being heartbroken. i wouldn't be judgemental or tell anyone. its a little embarassing as it is. there are plenty of people who haven't had a boy/girlfriend and they're around your age (i've met some). they just don't want to admit it. just know your not alone. Or you can always fake it till you make it!!!

You can't think anything of him if you don't know him. Get to know him and made your own thoughts about him. Maybe he's insecure or something. He might be a real keeper you never know. Get to know him and be friends first. Find other people that know him and talk to them. Above all be careful you don't want to end up with someone who can hurt you.

Not a girl, but, though I only had a couple girl friends by the time I was 17, I would think it is rather odd not to have had one and to be 19 or older...not to be too harsh, but the word L word comes to mind.
