Good question. I would like to think that I believe in a thing called love......I am married and consider myself 'in love' with my husband. What really constitutes love though? I think the meaning can be subjective in each person. For me, my feelings for my husband were the strongest I ever felt for any man. I consider it to be love. Love, to me, is realizing that I could not live without him. Of course I *could* go on if I had to, but I never found myself so afraid of a future without another person as I was when I thought about being without my husband. I put his needs before my own.I noticed that I wasn't selfish anymore. Prior to getting married, even when we were boyfriend and girlfriend, I noticed that my needs were no longer as important....It became "our needs". I stopped thinking in terms of "I", and started thinking as "We".
I think when you have reached a part with another person where you can give yourself entirely: emotionally, physically, spiritually. mentally, etc, and you are a level of total altruism...but not to the point of self sacrifice....then that is "love". It's never good to "live for another person"..... But to live alongside that person, and to share a world.
i hope that makes sense.

Yes, very much so. I knew I was in love the first time I talked to my now husband. But I think a lot of people misjudge lust for love.

well...as we grew up watching all these romantic movies with all the breath taking scenes we kind have a high expectation about love ...unfortunately in real life love is present but not that frequent as in movies or with the same intense feelings.

Sure thing, but it only happens if you are very glamorous, and hail from Lowestoft in Suffolk. The Darkness rocks!
