So one night my friend and his buds were having a small BP game at his room (I do not drink, so I declined to join). One of the girls (he knows her, so not a complete stranger) got a little too drunk and pretty much fell straight to sleep in her room. So my friend, in all the fun, decides to prank her by sticking a chocolate bar down her pants and letting it melt (a tad immature perhaps).

Anyway, so I kept saying that he could get into trouble for that (Sexual Harassment).

He says no. Reasons are:

1). He didn't rape her, had oral sex, etc.
2). Almost 4 months have passed since then, and he hasn't gotten into trouble
3). It was a bad prank on his part, but then again she should lighten up a bit
4). He (my friend) is generally a well-known guy who is typically really nice (just likes to have too much fun from time to time).

So what do you guys think?

When I was talking about the 4 months...I meant as in it has almost been 4 months since the prank and she hasn't told on him.

It is not sexual harassment, nor it it sexual abuse. It can, however, be punishable by a Misdemeanor Simple Assault charge, because he touched your friend without her permisson.

I would say that this was a very bad joke on your friend's part. In this case, he can be liable for civil and criminal damges if your other friends decides to pursue this.

Report it to the major, trainer, or counselor at your tuition. It is sexual harassment and it's a criminal offense. The colossal drawback is proving it, so maintain a diary with names, dates, instances, and so forth. of every occasion and any witnesses. How could your mother take it out of percentage. It is a colossal deal. If they're doing this now, what is going to they be doing in a couple of years? They ought to recognise now that this habits is useless mistaken they usually can not break out with it. Tell your mom, she's going to expectantly support you manage this.

i agree with the first answer. i dont think it was sexual harassment if he didnt touch any part of her body or try to look at private parts of hers.. but he did invade he privacy and violated her rights since she didnt know about this....he should never do something like this again because he CAN get into trouble.

Sexual harrassment is a term assigned for use in work and professional situations. It is one applied in civil litigation and does not seem to apply to this situation. Sexual assault would more likely be the question here.

I don't believe there is any type of sexual harrassment or assault in this case. I don't see any motive of any type of sexual gratification.

Regards

This wouldn't be considered sexual harassment as it would be a violation of her personal being.

Not harassment as he initiated physical contact. This would make it an assault.
