The people of Britain are already a bunch of disperate Germanic tribes amongst whom warefare breaks out periodically.

There are about 500 battle fields in England alone and over the last 1000 years, the Germanic tribes of England have fought each other. Most of these wars and battles have been fought over the ownership of the 'crown'.

When, under King Henry VIII, we decided to become 'England' (including Wales), we turned our attention abroad and fought wars there.

When Queen Elizabeth First came to the throne of England, the country was at rock bottom. Forty years later, at the end of her reign, England was top dog in Europe and about to take over the world and create the British Empire.

Nothing much has happened in UK except perpetual warfare. This warefare became styalised in the industrial era and esp. towards the end of the 19th century, with the creation of games such as soccer and rugby football. The natural native aggression of the Germanic tribes of Britain was able to come out in these games. Wear the wrong shirt in the wrong place and see what I mean.

The relative calm which exists in UK today, has really only come about since the 19th century. If you walked through Covent Garden in London in the 18th century without an escort, you would most certainly have been set upon and robbed. Not only of your valuables but also your clothes. You would have been beaten near to death and left naked. This in central London.

London itself has a long history of street violence when the London mob runs through the streets setting fire to everything and destroying property and killing people.

Read about the Gordon Riots, the Brixton Uprising, the Poll Tax Riots and you'll begin to understand just what the people of Britain are really like.

There is but a thin veil of 'civilisation' covering the people of Britain. My own race, the Welsh, a warlike people, are often likened to 'barbarian savages' and will go to war for any reason. Wales is after all the British Army's most important recruiting ground. Ask yourself why that is.

No, food prices will probably drop, there are a lot of programs that were placed during the great depression (Agricultural Adjustment Act) the paid farmers not to farm food because there was an overabundance. This program is still going on today and will probably get fixed. Gas prices are high because we import it all even though we don't have to. there are large pools of oil in alaska and the gulf of mexico that rival any in the middle east. Congress just hasn't passed a law to drill there

Depends on what the money said. It might go back to a Feudal system. They might even manage to tear up the Magna Carta. Or France could take over. Or another member of the family of Orange could come over and start again...

As usual, the people would get shafted :D

The winning system of governemt would be the one that put East Enders back on the telly the fastest.
