I think closer to 75% would reject communism... on the record, off the record around 25%.
Only the remaining 10% to 15% of the party who are still moderate or even conservative would reject socialism.

I think a much higher would reject communism -- 90%
Socialism -- depending on how one defines it -- would also be rejected higher. Yes, there are lib democrats that advocate "some" socialized things like health care etc. But not to the level of socialism that is in other countries.

I do not believe any liberal democrats would support communism or socialism. What I believe you are asking is what percentage of liberals are communists or socialists. I would put the percentage at maybe 1-2%, which matches up with the approximate percentage of votes that socialist or communist candidates get in an election.
That is not to say that we do not have any socialism. We have public schools, medicare, public military, public supported insurance and retirement plan (social security), and for the most part these are all good things.

95% and 95%. What you fail to realize here is that there are other opinions besides yours that are correct. Just because you think that liberals are communist/socialist, doesn't mean they are. They, on a whole, are as Patriotic as Conservatives, on a whole. Maybe you should see what liberals have to say before spewing garbage like this.

I'm sorry if you people have been brainwashed so much by your parents or Bill O'Reilly or whoever taught you that Socialism is a bad thing. It isn't. America isn't perfect, and neither is Capitalism. That isn't to say that Socialism is perfect but you neocons dread it like it were Nazism.

Americans want to be Americans.. and anyone is highly misguided if they think Republicans or Democrats (seeing as how most people are moderates) would want anything other than the Democratic Republic we have. though our expressions of that may very slightly we want the same end result.
