Sorry someone said how much yeast is involved ….. dude we are not baking a cake here.. Any yeast multiple rapidly under the right conditions….. so little can go a long way.
Candidiasis or yeast is pretty much always present is just a question of whether he gets an upper hand. Some women are very prone to use infections and they can get them after sexual contact. Now the question becomes is the man actually getting the yeast or is his semen upsetting the natural (Flora) of the vagina and therefore allowing yeast that are just hanging around to flourish.
Keep in mind that men and women have different plumbing. Urine may give a more hostile environment for the yeast to flourish while the vagina may provide less resistance to infection. Some studies have shown that only 33% of the women who were treated for a yeast infection actually had a yeast action. Many may have Bacterial Vaginosis.
Men can certainly get a yeast infection and it could in fact be painful.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMDT9
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

I guess it could be, but it's usually unnoticable.. If you have had sex a lot with a woman that has a yeast infection you need to get treated as well, because you can keep giving it back to her. Happened to a friend of mine, she kept getting yeast infections and as soon as they would cure up they'd come back! So the doctor told her to have her bf get a prescription.. It worked.

OMG....I can't imagine wanting to have sex while suffering from a yeast infection. I have heard or read that men don't really suffer like the woman does. Still, I can't stop thinking how awful it woudl be to have sex AND a yeast infection at the same time.

More than likely it's something other than a yeast infection, especially if it's painful, if you have a discharge. Get in to see a doctor - fast

more likely if the guy hasn't been snipped at birth.
If you have/had a yeast infection, it will look like a fine white powder on the male's anatomy.
The treatment is the same as yours.

most men that have a yeast infection is due from being uncut, normally doesn't get it from the women, it could be something else, check with a doctor they fixed mine, i didn't want the foreskin removed, so they just cut it down the middle, called dorsal cut, i haven't had a yeast infection since

depending on where the yeast infection transfers - yes.
If it is on the face or mouth, it becomes something called thrush.
